A walk in Lustleigh Cleave including Houndtor Wood, Water, Neadon Cleeve, Foxworthy, Hunters Tor, Logan Stone and Hisley Rudge Wood.
Poles are recommended and if it has rained recently the route to Water is named with good reason! However 1500ft (500m) of climbing and some loose rocky paths on the riverside will be rewarded by fantastic bird song through the woods and spectacular views from Hunters Tor.
The route from the Manaton Road can be flooded after rain. To avoid this possibility drive via the Moretonhampstead road and Lustleigh.
